Design Overview:
The purpose of this project was to explore how planes and spatial hierarchy can be used as primary drivers of architectural form. By organizing space through layered planes and controlled transitions, the project investigates how hierarchy can guide movement, define program, and shape spatial experience.
Phase 1: Conceptual Design
The project began by selecting a reference image and interpreting its underlying qualities to guide early design decisions. These ideas were explored through physical study models that informed the building’s form and spatial organization.
