Joshua Pirog
My interest in architecture developed through hands-on experience in residential construction, where I began working in carpentry and small-scale building projects at a young age. This background instilled a strong respect for craft, constructability, and the realities of building, which continue to inform my design approach.
Prior to pursuing architecture, I studied business and accounting, developing an understanding of project logistics, financial considerations, and client-focused decision-making. Ultimately, my interests led me back to the intersection of building and design, where I could apply both technical and analytical skills.
I am currently completing my architectural education at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation in May 2026. My work emphasizes clear communication, thoughtful spatial experience, and design grounded in material understanding. I intend to pursue licensure and contribute to the built environment through architecture shaped by craft and human experience.
I am interested in entry-level architectural roles focused on construction documentation, project coordination, and construction administration, as well as opportunities that support long-term growth in project and construction management.
